Another day in Margaritaville where the drinks flow and the inhibitions wane,
A world where I wish to find refuge from the winds of craziness and becoming insane.
I avoid the television news which are stuck on one theme day after day,
Like a howling dog looking at the sunset at the end of the day.
We all lose in this world now turned upside down,
Our leadership seem like unorthodox versions of the ”It” clown.
We are doing a dance where you take one step forward,
And then two giant steps awkwardly backward.
We zig and they zag,
We try to prop up but it does sag.
Are morals are tattered like a rag a muffin in disarray,
Only our enemies shout out the word, “Hurray”
