It is amazing how blind we can be,
For there is more to sight than we can see.
Can you see love as it passes in the air?
Is love a commodity for those who care?
Can we see the blind spot with the dangers hidden?
Or the void to be avoided of sins forbidden?
What about consequences, do they have a tangible edge,
What about loyalty and is it possible to see what a person can pledge?
So many things that confuse our eyes, a sense which can be fooled,
Stuff the teacher tried to teach us and yet we were unschooled.
How do you teach honesty that lingers with words untrue?
How do you learn from the mistakes that cloud the view?
Blind we are to so many things that swamp our feelings,
We are like mists of steam with so many dealings.
