Mary had a little lamb,
whose fleece was white as snow.
And everywhere that Mary went,
the lamb was sure to go.
It followed her to school one day
which was against the rules.
It made the children laugh and play,
to see a lamb at school.
Poor lamb went to the lunchroom,
Where old Mrs. Duffy was a cooking,
She looked at the lamb with relish and while the lamb was looking,
She fell the lamb with a thump on its head,
And cut the poor thing up and thus the children were fed.
Dumpling tender and moist and when Mary found out she was sad,
And angry Mary wanted revenge on the children who were bad.
She butted their heads and ran them around the room,
She hit them continually with her magical broom.
And magically the children changed into goats,
And Mary led them to the sea where they float.
Mary had a little lamb and now she has a flock,
She took them to the sea and floated them out,
They went to the bottom like a heavy rock,
Revenge is sweet and Mary was neat,
The children paid the price for eating Mary’s lamb meat.
